Privacy Policy

DeLe collects the account and record data needed to provide personal Khata, contacts, Mutual Agreements, expenses, committees, notifications and support.

Phone numbers and DeLe ID

Phone numbers are normalized for account matching. People may search using a DeLe ID so they do not need to share their full phone number. Accepted contacts see a masked phone unless the user opts in to full sharing.

Financial records

Cloud-backed records are stored with the user account. Mutual Agreements and committee records are visible only to their participants according to backend permissions.

Local-only expenses

Users may keep personal income and expenses only in their browser. DeLe does not receive those records and cannot restore them after browser data is cleared or the device is lost.

Photos and receipts

Users select individual images as optional attachments. DeLe does not need continuous access to the full photo library.

Runtime live rooms

Committee chat, microphone audio, presence and WebRTC signaling are not stored after the live room closes. Final committee ranking and required audit activity are stored.

Deletion

Private records may be deleted after verification. Shared records may be retained or anonymized where necessary to preserve another participant’s history and transparency.
